Painting is a passion that has to be nurtured over many years. Knowing this, David has painted consistently since 1990, developing his art with the help of his late mentor, Peter Clarke and many other teachers. David's art education began in England as a school student and includes studies at the Silvermine Guild Arts Center and the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts. Important influences have been the late Nancy Wayman, noted artists: Charles Reid, Robert Baxter, Jerry Weiss and Joan Tysinger. Most recently, David has worked with Michael Rodericks whose strong but subtle sense of color and composition have taken David's work in new and exciting directions. David sells his cards and prints at the Fairfield Women's Exchange 332 Pequot Avenue, Southport, CT 06890-1398 phone: (203) 259-5138

David has exhibited in numerous local shows, including the Connecticut Watercolor Society, the Westport Arts Show, the Junior League of Eastern Fairfield County, the Pequot Library, The Post 53 Art Show in Darien, the Nature Center Show in Westport, the Art Society of Old Greenwich, the Co-operative Nursery School Show in Rowayton and the Bridgeport Art Show. David has also exhibited at the Silvermine Guild Arts Center Student show.
